Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、SFTSにおける重症化と高い致死性の要因として、未だ特定できていないSFTSウイルス (SFTSV) 遺伝子変異の解明を目指すものである。応募者らが保有する動物・患者検体から分離される約200株のSFTSVを対象として、重症・軽症個体由来株、培養細胞で異なる感染性・増殖性を示す株、マウスモデルで異なる病原性を示すウイルス株の比較により、高病原性の要因となる遺伝子変異を明らかにする。
