Outline of Research at the Start	異種間キメラ動物は、異なる動物種の細胞からなる臓器や組織を作出できるため、幅広い応用が期待されている。本研究では、異種間キメラ動物の課題である、出生後の異種ドナー細胞の寄与率の低さの解決に取り組む。着床後胚発生の間に、キメラ胚内で異種ドナー細胞がどのように受容され、どのようなメカニズムで拒絶されるかについては明らかになっていない。そこで、幅広い動物種由来のリソースをドナーとし、さらに発光イメージングを利用したスクリーニング系によって、着床後の胚発生における異種細胞の動態を観察し、異種間キメラ動物の発生における、ドナー細胞の受容性と拒絶のメカニズムの全容解明とその制御手法の確立に挑む。
