Outline of Research at the Start	関節リウマチは、全身の関節に慢性炎症を来す難治性の自己免疫疾患であり、関節内の滑膜組織が増生し、進行性に軟骨と骨が破壊される。本研究では、関節炎の病態を形成する多彩なマクロファージサブセットの分化機構と病態生理を詳細に解析して、病的骨破壊の本質を分子レベルで解明するとともに、これらのマクロファージを標的とした新たな薬剤開発の実現を目指す。
