Outline of Research at the Start	加齢に伴う慢性炎症、肺疾患、自己免疫疾患の発症・増悪リスクの増大が大きな社会問題となっているが、それら現象を支えるメカニズムは未解明である。そこで本研究では、老化および炎症・自己免疫疾患において、組織に蓄積するB細胞サブタイプの同定を試みる。さらに、同定した組織蓄積B細胞サブタイプの誘導と活性化機序を解明し、疾患病態への関与を明らかにすることを到達目標とする。本成果は、加齢性疾患の理解と新規治療戦略の可能性を秘めており、超高齢化社会における健康寿命の延長に貢献できることが期待される。
