Outline of Research at the Start

我々は、現行医療で停滞する膵がん（浸潤性膵管癌）標的治療創出への一手として、DDSの
側面から革新的ポテンシャルを有すると考えられる新規膵がん標的用分子”SLC45A4”
transporterを発見した。本研究では、SLC45A4の分子機能解析による膵がんでの生物学的意
義の解明と併せ、従来法では作成困難であることが知られるtransporter分子に対する細胞外領域認識抗体の獲得、即ち、SLC45A4の細胞外loopに結合する特異抗体の作成に新規戦略で挑み、難渋する膵がん医療の展開に資する革新的なDDS platformを構築することを目指す。
