Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、PRSを用いて、精神疾患を診断・症候論的に分類することにある。なかでも特に有用と考えられるターゲットは気分障害患者である。すなわち、治療薬選択として、双極性障害は気分安定薬と第２世代抗精神病薬（SGA）が第一選択として使用されるが、どの患者にSGAを処方すればよいのかなど不明である。本研究の結果では、個人の診断・症候論の遺伝的スコアを表示することを目標とするため、例えば精神病的なPRS（幻覚・妄想）が高いとマッピングされれば、患者の現在・将来の症候論を推測するバイオマーカーになりうるし、ひいては将来の処方行動に指針を与える情報となりうる。
