Outline of Research at the Start

申請者はこれまで、ストレス誘発性の炎症発生のメカニズムを発見してきた。ストレスに応答して何らかの生物学的な反応を示す個体においてうつ病が発症するということは、すなわち、ストレスを外的に加えることで何らかの反応が捉えられる群が存在すると言える。そこで本研究では、1）一過性のストレスを加えた際に血中に放出される物質は何か、2）その物質はBHBによる治療反応性を予測するものであるのか、3）人においても一過性のストレスを加えて治療反応性を予測する物質を捉えることができるのか、4）うつ病患者において、治療反応予測に基づいた炎症標的新規抗うつ治療が実現できるのか、の検証を行う。
