Outline of Research at the Start

肺癌への効果が証明された免疫チェックポイント阻害薬（ICI）は腫瘍浸潤リンパ球（TIL）を活性化し効果を発揮するため、その解析が重要である。我々はTILに特徴的な変化を同定し、T細胞を活性化する可能性と逆にがん細胞にとっていい方向に働く可能性も見出し、TILには二面性が存在することが考えられた。マウスモデルも組み合わせこれらを詳細に明らかにして、新規バイオマーカーや治療標的、実際の使用時の注意喚起、「TILの二面性」等の新規概念の確立に繋げたい。
