Outline of Research at the Start

mtDNAはミトコンドリア機能低下に伴い断片化し自然免疫を惹起する。一次知覚神経に内在する自然免疫機構が断片化mtDNAを認識、神経炎症を引き起こして慢性疼痛を成立させる可能性を検討する。
末梢神経周囲に投与したmtDNAが神経細胞内の自然免疫機構を介して神経炎症と疼痛を生じさせるか検討する。神経障害性疼痛モデルのDRGにおいてmtDNAの断片化が生じ、これが神経炎症を惹起し、慢性疼痛の原因となる可能性を調査する。全身投与したmtDNAが血行性にDRGの自然免疫機構を活性化するか検討、術後痛モデル作成時に投与したmtDNAが神経炎症を引き起こし、術後痛を慢性化させるか調査する。
