Outline of Research at the Start

関節リウマチにおいて骨粗鬆症やそれに伴う骨折は減少していない。本研究の目的は免疫細胞による新たな筋骨格組織破壊修復機構を解明することである。1点目として、末梢性ヘルパーT細胞(Tph細胞)より分泌されるTph特異的新規炎症物質PHIFの破骨細胞分化への寄与、すなわちTph細胞による骨破壊機構の解明を行う。PHIFは申請者らが関節リウマチ患者のCD4陽性T細胞のシングルセルRNA解析より新規に同定したものである。2点目は、SPP1(OPN)発現マクロファージサブセットの筋骨格系に対する骨破壊、骨・筋肉修復能の有無や機序を解明する。
