Outline of Research at the Start	「組織マクロファージ」は胎生期に発生後、あらゆる臓器に分布し、臓器の発達や代謝に寄与すると考えられているが、その分化および制御機構には不明な点が多い。申請者は、破骨細胞のシーケンスデータから機能未知・未命名遺伝子を同定し、破骨細胞以外の組織マクロファージにおいても重要な役割を持つことを見出した。本研究では、新規遺伝子の機能解明を通して、組織マクロファージの運命を司る共通制御機構の理解を目指す。
