Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は顔貌の改善が顎変形症患者の認知機能と精神疾患傾向に与える影響を長期観察によって検討する。テーマを不安症と醜形恐怖症に絞り、それぞれの精神疾患アセスメントに加え、前者では脳活動測定、後者では視線軌跡測定を行い、認知科学的指標から精神疾患傾向の改善を検証する。これらの知見は新たな治療プログラムの開発につながり、心理的障害の排除という側面で顎矯正分野に多大な貢献を果たす可能性がある。
