Outline of Research at the Start

自動車運転行動は、「認知」、「判断」、「操作」の3要素で構成されている。脳疾患では、脳の機能が損なわれてしまい、3要素すべてに支障をきたすこととなる。そのため、脳疾患を発症すると自動車運転再開にストップをかける医師が多い。
研究代表者らは、自動車運転中の脳波・眼球運動・自律神経を同時に評価できるマルチモニタリングシステムを開発した。本研究の目的は、マルチモニタリングシステムを用いて自動車運転に必要な生理学的指標を解明・検証するためのデータベースを構築することで、病気を発症した後に自動車運転を再開するための評価・支援方法について検討するものである。
