Outline of Research at the Start

アフラトキシンを代表とするカビ毒の一種であるマイコトキシンの食品汚染暴露と有害妊娠転帰との関連について、申請者らがケニアにおいて実施している妊婦・新生児登録システムを利用した症例対照研究により疫学的に解明する。マイコトキシン暴露量は、血液検体から測定し、有害妊娠転帰については、上記システム並びに病院からの情報を用いる。社会経済的背景の交絡も考えられることから、その情報も考慮した調査・解析を実施する。
