Outline of Research at the Start

新生児・乳児の頭の形や大きさは、その後の児の成長・発達と密接な関係がある。新生児の頭蓋骨は柔らかく、頭蓋変形を引き起こすリスクが高く、重度になると神経運動発達の障害などをきたす恐れがある。しかし、日本ではあまり認知されていない。
今回、日本人を対象とした乳幼児の頭蓋変形（斜頭）の頻度を明らかにすること、乳幼児の成長に伴う頭蓋変形（斜頭）率の推移をフォローアップすること、介入による頭蓋変形低減の効果を検討することを目的とする。
