Outline of Research at the Start

健康寿命延伸の観点から，フレイルや生活習慣病を予防することはわが国における喫緊の課題である。多くの生活習慣病は免疫の乱れに起因する慢性炎症を基盤としているが，慢性炎症を制御する手法は確立されていない。本研究の目的は，データ駆動型に疾患関連因子を探索する新しい疫学手法を用いて，フレイルや生活習慣病に関連する口腔の因子をみいだし，その予防効果を検証することである。口腔からアプローチする新しいフレイル・生活習慣病予防法による健康寿命の延伸を目指す。
