Outline of Research at the Start

触知案内図は，触覚を通じて空間情報を把握できる有効なツールの一つであるが，触知案内図の触察能力を習得するのに長い時間を要するといわれている．そこで本研究では，視覚障害者向けの触知案内図の触読支援法を確立し，その効果を調べることを目的とする．具体的には，点字や触図を触れた際に，その内容に対応した音声情報を利用者にフィードバックする手法を検討し，確立する．さらに，確立した触読支援法を用いて，音声情報の活用が触知案内図の触読効率に与える影響を明らかにし，視覚障害者が触知案内図をより効果的に利用できるよう，触読方法の改善に繋げていきたい．
