Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、エネルギー代謝と社会行動の相互作用の分子機構を解明することである。エネルギー代謝を制御する神経回路と社会的行動を制御する神経回路のなかで重なっている神経回路を検出する。この重なる回路を相互作用の候補領域として検討する。この目的で、活性化された細胞が選択的に蛍光蛋白質で標識される遺伝子改変動物（ラットとマウス）を用いる。同定した候補神経回路の活動を実験的に操作することにより、エネルギー代謝と社会行動の相互作用を担う神経回路を同定する。
