Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、イヌの駆虫によってヒトのOv感染リスクを低減できるという仮説に立ち、イヌの定期駆虫を実施し、環境中のOv汚染状況を環境DNA手法で経時的にモニタリングを行うと同時に、数理モデリングを使用して、イヌの駆虫による環境のOv汚染状況の変化を評価する。また、日本、タイ、ラオスの研究協力の基盤を強化し、ワンヘルス・エコヘルスの概念を実際にフィールドにおいて活用し、顧みられない熱帯病Neglected Tropical Diseases; NTDs対策に貢献する。
