Outline of Research at the Start

増大する人間活動によって生態系レジームシフト（生態系の構造や機能の急激な変化）が頻発し、生態系サービスに依存する人間社会に深刻な影響が及んでいる。本研究では、シミュレーションモデルから発生させた教師データを用いて予兆シグナルを深層学習するアプローチを開発する。本研究は、気候変動と過剰利用による生態系レジームシフトが強く危惧されている乾燥地植生に焦点をあてる。乾燥地植生のシミュレーションモデルから発生させた植生パターン動態を深層学習させることで、リモートセンシング画像から植生レジームシフトの予兆シグナルを抽出するシステムを確立する。
