Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、温暖化が進むなか、標高方向の種子散布（以下、垂直散布）が樹木および植生の分布変化にどのように影響するか明らかにすることである。この目的のため、岩手山を対象に１）応募者らが開発した垂直散布の評価手法を利用した様々な散布タイプの樹木の垂直散布の実測、２）散布先での更新パフォーマンスの評価、３）１・２と温暖化シナリオを組み合わせた樹木および植生分布の将来予測を行う。
