Outline of Research at the Start

現在、動物の自己意識や認知能力について、世界的にも大きな変革点にある。それを牽引しているのが我々のチームである。これまでの魚類での鏡像自己認知に加え、洞察、仮説検証をはじめとする非言語的思考を実証成果を上げることで、これまでの脊椎動物の知性に関する人間中心主義的な捉え方/常識を、根底からひっくり返していきたい。この計画は、これまでの成果、現在進行形の成果、今後の期待される成果を考えると、決して夢物語ではない。
