Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題では、自己認識の進化的起源を探ることを目的として、非ヒト霊長類における自己と他者の顔認識処理に注目した研究を行う。AI技術で生成したアバタ映像を観察中に誘発される視覚野の神経活動記録ならびに、大域的な脳機能イメージング研究を実施する。そして、観察対象に対する行為主体感と、自己イメージとの同一性が、自己と他者の顔認知にどのように関わるのか、神経科学的な解明をめざす。
