Outline of Research at the Start

可聴周波数を超える超音波であっても，骨伝導であれば明瞭に知覚される．また，この“骨導超音波”は頭部から離れた部位，すなわち頸部，体幹，上肢等の”遠位”に呈示した場合も容易に知覚可能である．体内伝搬特性と音声知覚特性の解明，およびその結果に基づく音声加工方式や変調方式の開発に取り組み，遠位呈示骨導超音波による音声明瞭度や音質の向上を図る．
