Outline of Research at the Start

不溶性フィブリン(IF)に対するターゲティング能を有する新規血栓溶解剤を用い、急性期および慢性期脳神経疾患の治療法開拓が研究の目的である。このため、IF特異的抗体Fabと変異ウロキナーゼ(UK)との融合タンパクAMU1114を作成し、その血栓溶解作用と病態改善を2つの動物疾患モデルで評価する。研究対象とする第１の疾患である急性期脳梗塞は、血栓溶解性と脳出血抑制性を独自開発した脳血栓モデルで評価する。第２の疾患はアルツハイマー病(AD)で、血栓形成とAD病理との関係という新概念を実証し、新規AD治療薬の可能性を開拓する。
