Outline of Research at the Start

申請者らが開発した無毒化ヘルペスウイルス（HSV）ベクター技術とHSV標的化技術を融合することにより、運動ニューロン標的化無毒化HSVベクターの開発に挑む。本研究で開発するベクターでは、HSV外被糖蛋白質gDを運動ニューロンに標的化し、さらに治療遺伝子自身の転写を制御することで、ベクターの細胞内侵入・治療遺伝子転写活性を制御し、治療対象細胞以外への非特異的拡散を二重でブロックする。
