Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、哲学者プラトンの対話篇のひとつ『ポリティコス（政治家）』を文献学的・哲学的観点から包括的に研究することを目的とする。この著作は一般にプラトン哲学のなかで長編の『国家』と『法律』を補う第３の政治学的著作という位置づけを与えられる。しかし肝心の政治に関する具体的な話が希薄である一方で、議論が多様な要素を含んで錯綜しており、対話篇全体の意義に関して学者たちを困惑させ続けている。本研究では、近年提案された「新統一主義解釈」に親和的なアプローチを採用して、この対話篇の意義を明らかにすることを目指す。
