Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、ヒト生殖細胞系列のゲノム編集をめぐる各種の言説（生命科学や生命倫理学の専門家による議論、マスメディアによる報道、一般市民によるSNS投稿等の広範な資料）を「概念分析の社会学」と呼ばれる研究方針にしたがって精査し、それらの主張の基盤をなす人々の思考の枠組（人々の形而上学 folk metaphysics）を解明することである。特に、世代間倫理において焦点となる「非同一性問題」に焦点を合わせ、人々が「これから生まれる人々」をどのような存在者として了解しているのかを探りたい。さらに、こうした作業を通じて、今後のゲノム編集をめぐる倫理規範の構築や政策提言にも貢献したい。
