Outline of Research at the Start	現在のモンゴル国では、仏教やキリスト教など、それぞれにグローバルなネットワークをもつ諸宗教が、政治や教育、福祉などの諸領域において重要な役割を果たしている。本研究は、それらの宗教ネットワークがモンゴル国という場所において、互いにどのような影響を与え合っているかを分析することで、宗教社会学の一つの枠組みである公共宗教論をグローバルな視点から捉え直し、モンゴルの事例に当てはめて批判的に検討しようとするものである。また、モンゴル国というローカリティが宗教社会学的にもつ重要性を明らかにすることも本研究の重要な意義である。
