Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、日本の近現代の宗教史叙述について、それがどのような意識的・無意識的な枠組において行われてきているのかを検討するものであり、具体的な事例としては、主としてキリスト教史と仏教史の通史的な叙述を対象とする。このような問題設定は「宗教」概念の歴史性をめぐる諸研究と接続するものであり、戦後の宗教史叙述に見られる「近代主義」的な叙述姿勢を対象化して捉え直すことを試みる。その上で、多元的・多声的な宗教史叙述がどのように可能であるのか、それに向けた展開を模索する。
