Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、中世諏訪の神仏習合から生み出された「諏訪流神道」の形成過程および構造の分析を通して、諏訪古来のカミ信仰が、中世における仏教、その他さまざまな信仰との交渉によって、いかに多義的な神の姿を創出するに至ったか、その豊かな歴史性や多様性を明らかにするとともに、その根底に流れる諏訪独自の「胎生学的思想」を解明し、それを比較思想学の観点から考察することである。本研究は、中世日本の神仏習合の実態解明にさらに貢献するとともに、諏訪独自の「胎生学的思想」の探究を通して、現在、国際的にも注目されるアジア特有の「胎生学に基づいた身体論/宗教哲学論」の深化に貢献する。
