Outline of Research at the Start

ビザンティン世界の詩篇写本には、旧約聖書本文に対して新約聖書や他の文書の典拠に基づいた挿絵を描く、複雑な構造を持った作例がある。本文では語られていない挿絵が、何故そこに描かれるのか。本計画では、独自の図像体系を有するヴァティカン図書館ギリシア語写本1927番（12世紀）を中心に、挿絵入り余白詩篇写本を含む様々なジャンルの写本群、及び聖堂装飾プログラムとの関連性を分析するものである。
