Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は近代書画碑帖収蔵史研究の一環として位置づけられるものであり、当該収蔵史上最も重要な辛亥革命から戦前までの時期を研究対象とする。中国絵画史や中国書道史がどのように成立したのか、戦後日本書道史の展開は何によってもたらされたのか、といった学術的な問いを探究するためには、当該期の近代書画碑帖収蔵史研究によってはじめて明らかになるからである。そこで、本研究では関西中国書画碑帖コレクションの形成に重要な役割を果たした美術商・博文堂の活動実態の検討を通じて、いかに中国書画碑帖が日本へ流入し、日本の収蔵家に受容されたのかを解明することを目的とする。
