Outline of Research at the Start

江戸幕府の奥絵師筆頭として画壇の中心にあった木挽町狩野家は、多くの鑑定と模写を通じ膨大な古画アーカイブを作成し、創作に応用した。本研究は申請者が従来進めてきたこれらの整理・データ化・解析に加え、大名家が所有する「表道具」に注目し、東アジア史や経済学の視点を加味して、江戸期の鑑定と創作の関係、ひいては古画古物の鑑定システムと創作の変化について検討するものである。
