Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、2021－2023年度基盤研究(C)「光画像計測法の応用による園城寺所蔵国宝紙本墨画五部心観の調査研究」（課題番号21K00145、研究代表者：安嶋紀昭）による研究の過程で発した二つの新たなる課題を解決しようとするものである。すなわち、一つは、園城寺法明院に伝来する二種の五部心観が、従来説かれてきたような江戸時代後期の遺例ではなく、平安時代中期にまで遡るかも知れない可能性について、顕微写真や赤外線写真といった光画像計測法をも応用して検証する。もう一つは、国宝前欠本の一部と国宝鳥獣戯画甲巻に共通する表現・技法上の特徴を炙り出し、両者における鳥羽僧正覚猷関与の可能性を検証する。
