Outline of Research at the Start

音楽療法は認知症に対する非薬物療法の一手法であり、行動・心理症状(BPSD)や生活の質(QOL)の改善効果が報告されている。一方で、BPSDやQOLが改善しやすい認知症患者の臨床的特徴については未だ解明されていない。本研究では、一定の基準を満たす認知症患者に対して外来個人音楽療法を実施し、BPSDやQOLの改善が得られた患者の臨床的な特徴について、統計学的解析を用いて探索、抽出することを目的とする。本研究により音楽療法の効果を享受しやすい認知症患者像が分かれば、認知症患者に対する音楽療法の効率的な提供に寄与できると考える。
