Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、現代アメリカ映画産業において主流化したブロックバスター映画製作に着目し、メディアの領域を横断しながらグローバルに生産、流通、受容されるブロックバスター映画とその製作形態を産業内の規制緩和とメディア所有の再編成、製作拠点の海外移転、創造的労働という政治経済的な文脈から考察する。具体的には、米国大手映画スタジオが製作工程の一部を国外に外部委託する行為「ランナウェイ・プロダクション」を主要な考察対象とし、ランナウェイ・プロダクションの事業計画、収益構造、海外自治体の製作誘致戦略、米国内映画産業の雇用環境等への影響を分析する。
