Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、実践女子大学が所蔵する源氏物語の古筆切（約300点）とそれらに付された極め札について、書誌調査、及び科学技術を活用した料紙の悉皆調査を実施するもので、以下のような特色をもつ。第一に、古筆切のみならず極め札にも注目したこと。第二に、料紙の原料判定にはAIによるパターン認識ソフトの開発を導入していること。第三に、料紙に加えられた加工法については高精細デジタル顕微鏡を用いて判定すること。第四に、これらの成果を全ての画像と共にインターネットで公開すること、などである。
