Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、瀬尾光世の遺族が所蔵していた挿絵の原画類（以下、瀬尾太郎コレクションと称す）を整理するとともに、今まで断片的にしか取り上げてられてこなかった、瀬尾太郎名義での活動を解明していく。従来はアニメーション、マンガ、児童文学というように、個別の分野を中心に行われてきた研究を、瀬尾太郎コレクションの分析を通して領域横断的に行っていく。
瀬尾光世（瀬尾太郎）の、戦後における児童雑誌における挿絵やマンガ、さらには幼児向け商品のデザインといった活動の実態を明らかにしていく
