Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、清代中期の杭州詩人袁枚の文学活動とその詩観について、地方志の時代に活躍した杭州詩会への敬慕と反発という視点から解明を試みるものである。清代は地域文化の時代であるという指摘はこれまでもあったが、地方志、詩会、詩集を関連させる研究はほぼ行われていない。また袁枚をこうした地域文化の時代と結びつけた研究もない。それぞれを別個の現象として考えるのではなく、関連し連続するひとつの動きとして捉えることで、その時代を生きた詩人たちが背負ったもの、葛藤した痕跡を見、新たな文学を生み出す過程を見いだすことができると考える。袁枚という杭州詩人を通してそれらを明らかにし、清代詩史の新たな見方を提示する。
