Outline of Research at the Start	14世紀は英詩の歴史上、2つの伝統的な詩形、脚韻詩と頭韻詩が互いに接近度を高め、影響を与えあった時代である。本研究は、これまで中英語頭韻詩の韻律研究で主要であった歴史言語学的アプローチに加えて、認知科学や音楽理論など他分野の成果を取り入れることで、いまだ確立されていない頭韻詩の韻律とリズム構造を明らかにしていき、中英語頭韻詩研究に斬新な視点と革新的な進展をもたらすことを目指している。
