Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、気候危機下で所与の問題とみなされがちな「生存」という課題を文化の問題として多角的に考察するものである。気候危機が文学的主題となる1960年代以降の作品にみられる多様な生命観の抗争・交渉において、危機とともに生きる〈生存の文化〉の現代的湧現の動きが胚胎していることを明らかにする。文学空間において触知化されうる〈生存の文化〉は、気候変動を近代的リスク論で一元的に論じる風潮に抵抗し、気候危機に多角的に斬り込む準拠枠になることから、本研究は学際的な環境人文学の発展および思考の再調整に向けられた学術界内外の活動に貢献するものである。
