Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は歴史学的、文化学的、文学研究的手法を用いる。すなわち、後に亡命するユダヤ人が置かれていたナチスドイツにおける具体的な状況や、日本統治下の上海での亡命者の生活などについての歴史分析、ジャポニスム分析などの文化学的研究、国境を越える文学という観点からの文学研究である。資料収集と分析は主要な役割を担い、代表例としてイスラエル人の中国研究者Irene Eber のVoices of Shanghai（2008）が抜粋している原文資料を調査収集して新たな分析を行う。また、「東アジア亡命文学」において亡命における文学が果たした役割を現代の移民文学に置き換えて考察する予定である。
