Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、一方でロンドルの日本に関する記事、とりわけ日本の急激な近代化に対する評価について分析し、彼の日本文化への理解の深度を検証する。他方で、ロンドルに関する日本側の資料を調査することで、日仏双方の視点から彼と日本の関係を解明する。さらに、同時代の他のジャーナリストの著述へと分析対象を拡大することで、日仏のジャーナリズムの相互影響について俯瞰的に考察する。フランスの研究者とも協力して調査を進め、ロンドル最大の謎である最後の調査の真相に迫る。
