Outline of Research at the Start

ウガンダ西部に話される Nyoro 語、Kiga 語などを対象に、その人名、諺、民話、民族伝承などを現地録音し文字化する。これらの言語は無文字言語であり、テキストはあっても未だ文字化されていない。これらのテキストを文字化することによって、言語分析の資料としてのみならず、その内容分析により、個々の民族の特質と無文字言語・社会としての特質を明らかにする。
