Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、語彙項目の創発と誤用、語彙特性の変異と変化を許容する語彙的メカニズムとしてのレキシコンの特性を、並列モデルに基づく関係形態論の枠組みに基づいて解明する。具体的には、(1)語彙項目の拡張的用法、(2)イディオム表現、(3)中間言語の語彙にみられる誤用を取り上げ、いずれの現象も、語彙的嵌合体の事例として統一的な分析が可能であることを示し、関係形態論に基づくレキシコンの構成を経験的に検証する。また、その語彙的メカニズムとしての妥当性について理論的考察を行い、言語の一般理論に対して持ちうる理論的帰結を明らかにする。合わせて、本研究の外国語学習への応用の可能性を追究する。
