Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、第二言語としての日本語の係り受け距離に基づく統語発達指標に関する基礎的研究である。日本語学習者の統語発達をデータに基づいて検討し発達過程を分析する。統語の複雑さの研究の指標として語と語の係り受け関係を示すMDD（平均係り受け距離）や、統語構造の階層性から複雑性を測るMHD（平均階層距離）などの係り受け距離に基づく指標の有効性を検証する。学習者の発達過程は個人差が大きく、横断データでの調査には限界があるため3年間の縦断調査を実施して、個々の学習者の言語発達過程を詳しく観察し一般化線形混合モデル（GLMM）などの分析手法で解析して、日本語統語運用能力の発達と統語発達の指標の関係を分析する。
