Outline of Research at the Start

This study attempts to investigate the distinct patterns of eye movements and fixations during interactions with various types of information sources, educators can gain deeper insights into students’ cognitive processes during reading tasks. Educators and language instructors can gain insights from this study to develop targeted educational strategies. Also, the findings will not only help educators tailor their teaching approaches to enhance students’ reading comprehension abilities and critical thinking skills but also their teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and test design.
