Outline of Research at the Start

日本の高等学校等における英語以外の外国語教育の実態を把握すべく、文部科学省によって設定された学校コードに紐づくすべての高等学校等のすべての機関における外国語教育の情報を収集し、それらの情報をデータベース化し、情報の管理・更新を円滑に行える仕組みを作成する。これによって蓄積された情報を基に、英語偏重と言われる日本の外国語教育における科目の実態を詳細に考察し、英語以外の外国語教育に見られる特徴や傾向、問題点を示す。
