Outline of Research at the Start	小学校または中・高等学校で英語を指導する教員養成のための効果的な省察のあり方について探求する。模擬授業または実地授業の後に行う指導教員と学生の（あるいは学生同士の）振り返りの対話やフィードバックを記録したものをデータとして分析し、学生の意識・行動レベルでの変容との関係に焦点を当てることで、教育実習指導や教師教育者の専門性開発に還元できるような知見の提供を目指す。本研究の特色は、オランダのコーチングの理念に基づいて、内省を促す指導教員の支援的な介入とピア・フィードバック等の手法を組み合わせた省察活動を行い、その効果をいくつかの事例から検証することにある。
